Cotton Branch Series 1, Original Acrylic Painting on 16 x 20 Canvas. Delicate blooms of cotton that grow in the Southern States and in Arizona every Fall we see the fields full. I love them and like to create handmade paper with the balls as well as Mixed Media projects. It must have been hard for the Farmers to pick the cotton from the prickly branches years ago when we didn't have the machinery. You learn to "pluck" the cotton pretty quick.
